Phoebe scores place in U17 Scotland Netball Team

Phoebe Verstralen has been selected for the Scotland Netball U17 Long Squad for the forthcoming season. Phoebe started playing netball when she joined Lathallan and has worked exceptionally hard to initially be selected for the District team and then for the Performance Squad and then finally for the National Squad. Well done Phoebe!

Athletics Triangular

On Wednesday 3 May the school invited pupils from St Margaret’s School for Girls and St Leonard’s School in St Andrews for an afternoon of athletics including track running, long jump, javelin, shot putt and relay races. X Country Championship Results

Boys win at Rugby 7s

Pupils travelled to Hutcheson’s Grammar School in Glasgow on Wednesday 8 March for their annual Rugby 7s event. Lathallan were the smallest school taking part and almost missed out on being invited. The U18 team relished the opportunity. They played Kelvinside in the finals and won the competition by 1 try.

3rd round Scottish Cup at Holyrood Glasgow
Netball Success

The U18 team played the third round of the Scottish Cup away at Holyrood School, Glasgow on Friday 3 February. The competition was hard but the girls kept their focus and came away with a 42-27 victory! The team is now through to the quarter-finals.

Ross selected for Scotland

Lathallan School pupil Ross Milne (15) has been selected by Scottish Rugby for their forthcoming under-16s Welsh tour.
