Welcome
Back in 1972, four Preparatory Schools came together for an athletics fixture that marked the end of a busy summer term. It was a time of setting records, forging friendships, and celebrating victories. And even today, this annual athletics fixture continues to thrive.
While Blairmore School sadly closed its doors in 1993, its legacy lives on. Since then, pupils from Ardvreck, Gordonstoun, and Lathallan have been competing annually for the prestigious Blairmore Athletics Cup.
The motto of Blairmore, “strive for better things,” remains a guiding principle for this event. Whether it’s achieving personal bests, displaying great sportsmanship, or demonstrating endeavour, the spirit of striving to achieve will be evident throughout the day.
We extend a warm welcome to all our guests and look forward to an exhilarating day of competition.
