Pathways

An inspiring early education for your child

Explore Lathallan Pathways

At Lathallan, we believe that a strong early education is one of the most valuable investments in a child’s future.

We also understand that taking the first step into independent education can feel like a big decision. Many parents don’t know where to start or how much it will cost them. That is why we launched Lathallan Pathways to give parents of J1, J2, J3 and J4 pupils a helping hand on the first step towards an inspiring education at our school.

Lathallan Pathways makes it more affordable to make that first step, with annual fees for J1 and J2 pupils at a price that represents the best value for early years education in the North East of Scotland.

To find out more about Lathallan Pathways please contact our Admissions Officer Nicola Harrison on admissions@lathallan.org.uk.

All pupils in the Lathallan Pathways programme gain access to the rich, engaging, and inspiring opportunities that make a Lathallan education so unique, including:

· Some of the smallest class sizes in Scotland with, on average, just 12 pupils per class. This means your child will receive the individual attention of our teachers to help them learn to the best of their ability

· Specialist teaching for our Junior pupils in Science, French, Music, Art, PE, and ICT, with Drama introduced from J3, providing advanced learning opportunities and ensuring a smooth transition into Lathallan Senior School.

· Sector-leading outdoor learning in our inspiring, extensive grounds which boast a treehouse classroom, new state-of-the-art Science Centre and an on-site school farm: Learn about our LOtC Gold Mark here

We know that the early years of a child’s life are some of the most valuable, as they soak up all the experiences that come their way. At Lathallan, our pupils participate in an enormous range of extracurricular activities they might not otherwise experience. They often surprise themselves with the things that they develop a passion and aptitude for, which may otherwise never be considered. Check out the range of clubs and activities on offer for our younger pupils during breaktime and after school this term.

“One of my first memories when visiting Lathallan was that Mr Toley (Headmaster) knew every child by their first name and he spoke to every child in passing. He was interested in the child as an individual and what they could achieve if given the right opportunities” – Lathallan Parent
