Job summary
We are looking for individuals passionate about early years with an enthusiasm for outdoor learning, a drive to learn and who want to be part of a highly dedicated team.
Working with all age groups you will support Practitioners in the daily care and education of young children. You will have an eagerness to learn and get involved with the day-to-day running of the nursery.

Lathallan Nursery is part of Lathallan School and delivers high-quality education and childcare for children from birth to five years of age, within its sprawling 60-acre grounds.
Candidate requirements
Whilst working in the Nursery you will work towards gaining your SVQ Social Services Children and Young People Level 3 qualification. A tutor will visit you regularly to support and assess you in your training. You will have in-house mentoring and training to support your learning and progress.

- Be able to promote and support positive relationships with all service users
- Enjoy time spent outdoors in all weather conditions
- Have the ability to engage positively with children – whether they are playing pirates, dinosaurs or billy goats!
Candidates must hold a minimum of Nat 5 in English and Maths and be aged between 16-19 years of age. PVG and reference checks will be made.
This position is for an 18-month contract. Working hours are 30 hours across the week between 7.30am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. The wage reflects that of the National Apprentice Rate.
