University Application Success at Lathallan!
At Lathallan School, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture of academic ambition and personalised support. This year, we are thrilled to announce that all of our S6 pupils who applied to university through UCAS have received at least one Conditional offer
Mr. Fernandez, Lathallan’s Career Advisor, shared his excitement, saying:
“I am very pleased to report that all of our S6 pupils who applied to university through UCAS have received at least one Conditional offer. At the time of writing, of the 21 applicants, 3 pupils have already made a firm choice; and 10 pupils have at least one Unconditional offer. The majority of applications were processed and submitted before the December break and each of those pupils received at least one offer within 2 days.”
Thanks to each of the teachers who not only helped ensure that personal statements were of a high standard, but also wrote references that definitely helped support the decision-making process at each university.
Now, regardless of their offers, it is time for each one of our young people to knuckle down and aim for the best grades possible in the upcoming exams; and prepare for the academic challenges and exciting times ahead at University.”
