Netball at Lathallan – A Key Sport with National Success
Netball is one of our key sports at Lathallan, alongside rugby, where we have also enjoyed huge success at the national level. Beyond netball and rugby, we are incredibly proud of our students excelling in swimming, cycling, archery, and tennis, showcasing the depth of sporting talent within our school.
Teamwork, Dedication, and a Community Effort
Coached by the brilliant Miss Mathieson, the team played with precision, energy, and sheer determination, overwhelming their opponents with skill and speed. But this wasn’t just about what happened on the court—it was a true Lathallan community effort.
Even Mr Toley got involved, showing his unwavering support by driving the school bus to the match, ensuring the team arrived in style and ready to compete. At Lathallan, we support each other on and off the court, and this victory was a testament to the strength of our school spirit.

On to the Quarterfinals!
With this emphatic win under their belts, the team now sets their sights on the quarterfinals of the Scottish Plate. Their hard work, passion, and belief have brought them this far, but they are hungry for more.
Miss Mathieson summed it up perfectly: “Reaching the final eight is a dream come true, but we’re not done yet—we want to win the Plate!”
Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get on up, it’s netball time! 🏆💙💛
