Centenary Celebrations, Functions and Events

I started flying drones aged 11 and, in S3 my Business Studies teacher, Mr Fernandez, encouraged me to start-up my own aerial survey business. I used the money earned working for my dad to get my drone pilot qualification and have since worked with local farmers, surveying their land, insurance firms conducting roof surveys and a construction firm that wanted aerial footage for a promotional film.
I recently invested in a new drone with thermal imaging and lots of new technology and have already lined up some work inspecting solar panels. The small class sizes at school really helped me. I got a lot of individual attention, which gave me the confidence to take my business idea forward.
I was recently shortlisted in the Entrepreneur category for the Young Scot Awards, something I’m very proud of. I’ve opted to study Mechanical Engineering at Napier University and am looking forward to continuing to build up my business alongside.

The Old Lathallian Association Is open to all former pupils of Lathallan, to members of staff, past and present, and to parents. Old Lathallians can expect a regular newsletter (generally four times a year) as well as invitations to reunions and events.
