Lathallan pupil Robbie Greenwood has been praised by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon for highlighting the devastating impact of climate change.
Robbie was successful in a Scottish Government-run competition which called on school pupils across the country to highlight climate change through photography.
Robbie was awarded a £20 book token and was praised during a video message from the First Minister for his image of a polar bear suffering from the harmful effects of melting ice.

Lathallan continues to look at ways to reduce its carbon footprint as a school. It has been a proud Eco-School for over a decade and recently worked with Surfers Against Sewage to reduce its plastic waste.
Junior School pupils recently tackled waste at Lathallan beach, just a few hundred metres from Brotherton Castle, while Senior pupils are creating a Lathallan Eco Community website.
